What year is my HJ45

I have no idea what year my HJ45 is, i just got it of next door for a steal, and was just wondering how to figure out what year it is

the plate under the hood says:

MODEL: HJ45 RP-KQ
ENGINE: H 3576cc/217.7 cu.in.
FRAME No.: HJ45 - 038848
Color/trim: 416 LN11
Trans/axle: H41 K082
Plant/G.V.W A11 3040KG

I'm fairly sure that the 2H engine was used in the HJ45 from 1980 onwards, so theres a starting point.

Edit: Apparently production of the HJ45 ceased in 1980 anyway! Sorry, not much help!

That looks like H motor, not 2H. Sorry to be picky. And i thought 45 went throught to about 84-86 or was that 47?

Yeh I know, I meant that it must be pre 1980 because from then on the H was replaced with the 2H.

If it helps mines a 74 with turn down, non-locking door handles, I think they went with the lift handles a year or 2 later.

call the vic roads stolen vehicle/finance check, they can tell you all. will even give you a bit of paper for $8 or so that says it on it.

Was a thread like this recently. You should have another plate under the bonnet somewhere with the year on it. Possibly on the drivers side inner guard. In any case, ring Toyota parts dept and give them the frame number above and they should be able to tell you the month and year.
