2" Body lift on a GQ coil cab (Bolt sizes)

Post by steve patrol »

Does anyone know the size of the bolts i need to do a 2" body lift on the cab only on a GQ Coil Cab Ute? ie length, diameter and thread.

Also is there anything else i need to get (ie washes, lock nuts, etc...)? All I have are the lift blocks, and ive already bent the 4x4 lever forward.

Cheers

take one the original bolts out and trott off down to a bolt shop, and ask for Hi Tensile bolts 50mm longer with nyloc nuts.... simple.

They are 150mm long.

Cheers mate! The reason why i didn't do that is that I shot myself in the wrist last week and the C^&* went in the bone :bad-words: , so i cant use my hand at the moment. Want to get all the parts ready for when i can use my hand again. Are they M12's? Ive got a few lying around if they are  !

Also do I need to get any washers?

Thanks again for the help!

The ones i have are zinc coated.

I looked in the body lift thread in the GQ bible, it said 10 x 150mm x 12mm bolts but that was for a LWB wagon. I take it should be the same for a ute but only 6 bolts?

Let the mods begin!
