5 link front end
Hey guys just wondering how bad if 5 link front to drive on the road, wont be driving truck every day,but need to drive to occasionaly.i now they flex awsome so am keen as i can get one cheap.other wise considering superior super flex arms.
actually, macca (GU, modern design homes) ran a 5 link in his for 2 rounds i think it was last year1MadEngineer wrote:there are always plenty of cheap secondhand kits available! that might tell you something. there are no 5links in the high speed winch challenge stuff i know of?
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
In 2003, Buddha drove his multi coloured GQ Patrol - with 6" lift, 2" bodylift, 5-Link front, 35" street tyres & towing a trailer with comp tyres & other gear - to Broken Hill, competed in the outback challenge & then drove it home again.
There were plenty of high speed stages including long distances at higher speeds during transit stages which it handled with-out any problems.
It does feel a bit like a boat though!!!
