Anyone got em or had em.
Had a GU petrol 4.5 a couple years back and i had 85% Rockhopper transfer gears.
I found them great for rockcrawling on real had shit, but they shitted me big time for normal trips such as high country and meduim touring stuff.
I now have a 4.2 Turbo GU with an upgrade and 4.3 diff ratios and i run 36s
I am finding hwy performance is fine but i am running out of low speed control in low range.
i am considering the newer 43% Tansfer gears.
Any opinoins would be great.
Thanks
Grant.

This is exactly why I never bothered.GUEEY wrote:but they shitted me big time for normal trips such as high country and meduim touring stuff...
I've been in a GU with the 85's - NUTS slow!
But cant find anyone with the 43%... very keen to go for a run to check em out too.
Having had a Rangie with 3.23 low range 4.7 Diffs, I know what I would like in a GQ with 4.6 Gears and the same size tyres.
24% is all the reduction I require over standard for the High Country Driving I do. Need to move the 2nd to 3rd Jap gap to a different speed in low range, 5000 rpm in second and third is too tall to pull.
