can u weld to rs9000 shockys?

as name surgests..
wanting to make custom struts.. i have been told to sleve them and weld the sleve on top and bottom...
correct?
how do i prep them?
and how do i keep them cool when welding?

If your goin to go to that much trouble, why not start with a decent shock like a Bilstein or a Koni.

it is what i have been recomended to use.. as of ajustability..
its not that much trouble at all rly.. quite easy.. just need to know corect way to weld it..

Those Boss shocks I was talking about in that thread will all get mods to make into struts. I don't know the time frame on them though.
