ive recently purchased a 92 sierra and was wondering if anyone has tried the 5inch suspension lift from snake raceing

all i really want to know is if its worth getting value for money wise dos it actually do what it says and is it 100% bolt on like the site recons??
oh and if a queenslander has tried or know is it actually capable of being half passable for a engineer (ill be askin a engineer meself later just wanna make sure its worth doin first) thanks

suspension upgrade
you will find the kit is actually made by a US company called CALMINI there are a few threads on here regarding this kit, and i have recently fitted one up to my LWB.
all i can say at the moment is F&%k it is a harsh ride (bearable, but harsh), when i get a chance i will definately be taking a leaf out of each spring.
I wouldn't buy from snake racing, they are massively over priced, but if you want it NOW, they may be the only option. CALMINI in the states have this kit on backorder, ready to ship in november. (looking at around $1200 shipped) plus that way, you can get the much less harsh light duty springs.

Realistically it's only a good option if you can only fit bolt on parts. And even then I'd be getting the rocky road YJ kit if I had the chance to do it all again.
The Calmini kit is also not the best for fitting large tyres without hassle as the shackle reversal forces the front tyre into the firewall on compression and much more massaging of the firewall/gaurds is needed to fit large tyres than a normal shackle setup. It does however ride nicely (one the stiffness is sorted out) compared to a normal shackled vehicle.
As mentioned it has been covered before so do a search of the suzuki section for "calmini".
Order from locktup or 4wdUSA and demand the LIGHT DUTY springs, then take a leaf out of the front to level the kit out and soften the ride. Also move the front diff forward and inch by re-drilling the spring plates (do a search in the bible for wheelbas extension). And lastely make sure you hammer flat the brake line brackets on the rear diff and just cable tie or hose clamp the line as the brackets foul on the rear shocks and damage them.
