Best adapter for LS1 to Nissan Auto

Looking at putting LS1 into a GQ .Interested if anyone has done this whilest retaining the Nissan 4 speed auto.If so, what is the best adapter kit to use.Any info apreciated.

I would have thought it would be preferable/cheaper/stronger to use a GM auto and adapt at the transfer.

Shifting the nissan auto via signals from the GM ecu would be only one area I would say could be fraught with difficulty/$$$

Hey, I would agree with the GM box, I looked into using a cruiser auto, but to make it reliable it needed a differnet torque convertor, $700, different valve body, $1200, Plus then have to make it shift.

Spend that sort of dollars into a GM box, it's gonna be strong enough i think.
