MUDZILLAS 35x13.5 ANYONE USED EM????????
gday fellas,
was down cruiser on the weekend and seen these tyres, looked the part and like the idea of the 13.5 wide as ive got 10" rims.
But as the name says are they really suited just for mud or suitable for other applications too?????
Im mainly doin stuff like at landcruiser hills, dirt and rocks and a bit of beach, try to avoid mud if i can, would you rate these tyres or better putting my money into another tyre??????
cheers

what car did you see these tyres on out cruiser park? i was there on the weekend and i have 35x13.5 mudzilla on 16X10 rims on my shorty partol. i havnt had any troubles with them as yet and they grip well on rocks and loose stuff cause they are a pretty soft compound rubber.
havnt tried them out in the mud yet but im very happy with how they have proformed so far.
i paid $340 a tyre fitted and balanced

ive got a set of a fj45 landcruiser and love them tho ive gone from 31" muddies so really ive got nothing to compare them against
mine are on a 8" wide rim not really suitable just means the centers will wear quite quickly its not my daily driver so i never swap tyres
noisy WHAT yep incredibly noisy on road

usually run them from 15-17psi
Had a set of 35 mudzilla on 10in rims hook up ok for hills hung on rims well at low pressure. On road they were only on the road when they were crossing it and just dangerous in the wet on blacktop.like old mate said they seem very hard.If you arn`t doing big ks should be ok mate just thaught i`d tell you about the wet road thing.Did i mention they were slippery on wet tarmac?
Inya Racing..
no bead problems running em on 15psi, not to fussed about the noise will be a everyday tyre but only drive it to work and back. pretty keen to get a set just worried about the life i will get out of em, gonna try and compare to similar tyres for wear, been looking at trepadores too.dizzy wrote:Ive got 35x13.5x15 on 15x10 and they go good in all areas that ive had them so far I run around 15 psi but the noise on road with the windows down is unreal my wife can hear me coming home from arond 2 blocks away lol..
