cant do a chassis swap no more. best best wold be to cut all mounts off and paste them onto the 60 chassis.
but speak to an engineer first.
another option is ICV but it actually needs to be individual constructed vehicle now, no body swaps. so youll have to get welds inspected etc. if you just grind all the markings off an 80 series chassis, get the thing inspected as individually constructed then your right
(dodge)
(the comments above are in no way me saying it can or should be done, just how i interperate the rules in my shonky mind)

turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown
can you expland this in a bit more detail? wat is a individual constructed vehicle?chunderlicious wrote: another option is ICV but it actually needs to be individual constructed vehicle now, no body swaps. so youll have to get welds inspected etc. if you just grind all the markings off an 80 series chassis, get the thing inspected as individually constructed then your right(dodge)

i dont have the book saved anymore but;
basically it states that to be an icv it has to be a custom made chassis and or an unrecognisable body to a production vehicle. it has to complete a swerve, brake, headlight, emissions test etc. and those standards have to be of a vehicle prouced today.
its very hard to meet all the criteria. was easy a few years ago but they have cut down on the dodgey people doing hotrods etc.
about the engineering. who cares about getting caught so much as killing someone in an illegal car and being charged with manslaughter.
