Gq/Gu diffs under a 80 serries

i am wanting to put Gq/Gu diffs under my 80 serries and if any one has any info on this conversion would be much appreciated if you could let me no, or evan a contact number so i could give u a call and ask a few questions about it.

johnnytrackabout and fester from all 4x4 parts both did the conversion in there comp trucks[/code]
turbos are nice but i'd rather be blown

Its not the most ideal conv as the Nissan pumpkin is further to the RHS and uptravel needs to be limited to prevent the diff pumpkin hitting the chassis rail. ( Nissan rail has a higher hump in the rail to clear this) The Nissan diff centre/gears are muck stronger , GU-80 CV's are of similar strengh but Nissan have wheel bearing problems with bigger tyres and the Toyota have better FWH and or Drive plates to choose from.
I build front diffs for 80/100's to utilise the Nissan centre with all the Toyota axles , brakes, CV's , hubs ETC with the diff centre in the correct position and you get the best of both worlds ( the only custom part is the housing all other parts are std of the shelf items ) The other problem is the rear diff the Toyota is offset the Nissan is centred so the not ideal and would require a custom fuel tank to clear the drive shaft.

2dextreme did the front arms for Fester and Johny Track abouts GU diff under there trucks.
