Inner guard room on GU

A quick question for anyone that has had the inner guard off their GU recently.

How much room is there between the outer skin and the inner guard?

I'm hoping to run a 4" pipe between them, will it fit?

Just hoping that someone has the splash guard off to measure, as its too wet in melbourne to remove the guard after work.

hey bud,

fitted a safari snorkel 2 months ago and i'm pretty sure there was only bout 3 inches of room. see how you go.

Shame, about 4 days too late, I fitted a snorkel last weekend and could have measured it up for you , may be of limited help - unsure - but my pics of the install are here
