Central locking ?
Central locking ?
Anyone fit it into a sierra ?
Just had a look with some black widow actuators and they look a bit big... or the doors look too thin.
The window and scissor lift bit foul on them except when they're way down the bottom and down there they're on way too much of an angle to work properly.
Might have a look to see if I can get some more compact or thin actuators, or maybe there's some weird solution... ?

Why would you want to central locking on a Sierra?
...carpet
...cd player. etc...
back in a previous life, i fitted the dicksmith electronics central locking to a hard top sierra (with carpet and a cd player)... i think it was about $30...
I already had an immob / alarm fitted to the car (with carpet and a cd player)... the actuators were a tight fit - but i got them with my very basic hand tools (plus a drill) and very basic tech knowledge.

Zooks are for people that aren't afraid of angles and who have nothing to compensate for

my hard top came with central locking which unlocks all the doors at once & with remote also an alarm and emobaliser and it is set up so if any off the doors are oppen (both sides and back door plus bonet) it gose off, its quite handy you dont have to wory about checking all the doors are loked just one press of a butten and done
Well mines a soft top yeah... but it's got a fiberglass hard top on it that doesn't want to come off it's been on there that long.
But yeah, my immobiliser is being a pain and not disarming, mate can get me a nice alarm at trade price so thought I'd upgrade. But not really worth having a fancy alarm with a remote and everything and you still have to unlock the doors.
I have a cd player and speakers in my car, I leave an mp3 player plugged into pretty often. Someones tried to get into it before. All reasons to do it.
I'm not lazy.. well that lazy. I've had a rooted passenger lock up til a few days ago because someone that's less than competent at car theft buggered it.
Pyrotech and want33s, yep I'd be keen. Got work right now but I'll send both of you a pm.
