Wheel arch flares

Post by Dalluke »

Hey guys I have a 92 NH TD pajero with 33's and suspension lift, i am planing on lifitng body 2" and putting 33" muddies on it because i am getting a work vehicle and this will now be my play toy, i have a few questions regarding this.

1. Will 33 x 12.5 x 15 tyres fit and not rub (currently have 33 x 10.5 x 15 and they close but no rub)
2. Where can i get wheel arch flares from, just the non standard rubber ones you screw on yourself, or any other products that work on a budget
3. Any one want to buy my old 33" BFG all terrains when i get my new ones, 70% tread some wear and tear marks on 15" rims $700.00

i just put some flares on my paj. the cheepest that i found is going into bunnings warehouse and getting garden edging. its about 10cm wide black UV resistant plastic. it was pretty cheep and will do all 4 wheel arches with one roll.

it looks great too. :)

There was a full set of original ones on Ebay a couple of days ago, rear as well as both front guards I think. Have a look.

X2,

I had a NJ, and i used this stuff. fitted 33 x 12.5 no worrys with 2 plus 2 lift.

Now have a GQ, and just sold my factory flares and fitting more garden edging today. cheap, and easy to replace if you break or damage.
