movin diff forward on gu
movin diff forward on gu
does anyone know how i can move my diff forward on my gu wagon with 35 s and 4 inch lift
mmmmmmmmmm beer
here's an idea - admitantly not very well though out, i have a similar set up but running Big-O arms, what i was wondering was can i also add arm spacers = roughtly 22mm of fwd movement (10mm arm + 12mm spacer)?
Will this create any other problems with springs/shocks or steering links etc?
I would like to eventually squeeze in 36's on my custom off set rims which alreay massage the guards now with worn 35's on it without cutting guards...

i pushed my GQ front diff forward 2" when i built my 5 link, the panhard is in the standard spot and it hits the diff on full compression, i think 22mm is doable, as mine only just hits, bear in mind thou i moved my coil and shock mounts on my diff to line up again,
as GQ and GU chassis are the same, if not very similar, i cant see a prob pushing the diff 22mm forward other than coil and shock mounts being an issue

myself and my dad run drop boxes on out daily driven trucks and we havnt really been hung up on the drop boxes to this point, but we have landed on them dropping down stuff in the past but they just slide right off, these are in a GQ and a GU,OZ14WD wrote:i got some radius arm spaces there only 10mm. im not sure that'll be enough. do the drop boxes ever get hung up on stuff.
