Hi all
Hope you all had a good four wheeling over Xmas
I want to know what you guys think about building a comp truck(in NZ)
the Dennys challenge rules state no wheelbase change.
So my question is would you build a short or long wheelbase zuk,the long wheel base would be a truck body, the short woud be a cut down hard top
as it must have a hard roof.
Cheers Simon

Long or Short
Long or Short
Thanks
This was to easy for you zuk fans.
Here in NZ we only got truck cabs but cutting down a shorty body would be a good as long leggs like the extra couple of inches leg room that the
normal body provides.
What do you think the main good point is to the long wheel base ?????

Climbs better, can get up larger obstacles.
If you cannot change the wheelbase you can stil run rears up front but move the spring hanger in.

Other points is rides better
Easier to redistribute weight
More driveline options due to more room (length wise) for driveshafts
Easier to run longer rear springs (better flex)
