6.1s in a landcruiser
ive seen them in a few 4bys in 4wd monthly but cant find where people are gettin 6.1:1 ratio diffs for a landcruiser. i think the sporty40 team that won the first tuff truck challenge was running them.

you already have 4.1's and they are plenty strong.
the Mark's crawler gears have an option of 8% underdrive in high range so they sort out your on-road gearing too - it gives you the equivalent high range gearing of having about a 4.4:1 diff.
AWWE TRUE HICCUP I DIDNT KNOW THAT BRIAN....LEARN SOMEFIN NEW EVERY DAY.......AND IM DEFINATELY GOIN MARKS CRAWLER GEARS TOO

BJ, they would be Masiero gears.
http://www.masiero.com/default1.htm you can download the catalogue from their website.
The 6.17 (37/6) Dyna Stout is a 12 bolt 10.5" diameter crownwheel.
There are also 6.50 & 6.83 ratio's from Dyna's as well.
I asked them about some Mitsi 5.29's but they don't do em anymore

I just luv my "clacker Jabber"
ive been thinking about body roll and stuff caused by crawler gears for a while, and i recon if you have too low a gears before your axle and with a locker, you tend to roll around your tailshaft rather than your axle moving. for example the overkill suzuki of sam's in that tuff truck video it always rolled to the drivers side.
4.56's would be ideal for 35s/36s id say. return everything close to normal.
