Daily Turbo Questions - Solution?

Since theres 10chimpteen threads a day asking what turbo, how should I, is this turbo suitable, what inlet/outlet housing size etc how do I make 4000kw and 10nM's ....

Maybe Andy and Joel could do a "Wiki" or a Bible page on basics to assist, so theres not the same things being asked, and people can get their answers quicker.

Just a thought.

seing you know so much and are so good at the search function and evidently have nothing better to do than surf the interweb thingy how about you do something proactive for a change and put together a bible page for turbos and pm it to kingy to add to the top or into the respective bibles???

I've done that in the past.. same when the server URL's changed.
Plus in middle of doing it on the patrol4x4 forum, there was a suggestion on a bible a while back.

as I am sure you know I have compuled and assited to compile bibles in this section and general, instead of whinging I just do it. That said we all know the bible and search is rarely used and you will get the same number of posts regarding tubos, fitting 35s on a 2" list, GQ death wobble etc etc

If you think a bible will help, whats stopping you?

i'm with bogged same shit different day!...bible has a lot of common questions and lots of answers....people are to lazy to look, but will happily write a new thread.

maybe its 2002 again, forums are new and trendy and everyones starting new threads so they can get their post count up, everyone wants to be the popular kid at school

I like the search function. Works well. Although not everything is clarified 100% or answered properly all the time. Maybe bumping an old thread would be a better option than starting a new one...

Im also thinking along the lines that it could save people money who rush out and buy that "cheap turbo a mate had layin round in the shed", which ends up being no real use or wrong size for what they want

Can't say that i like the search function, but i do use it all the time. I tend to post up in old/unfinished/unanswered threads as i know starting a new turbo thread would end up in me feeling the wrath of the boggedy, and looking like a (lazy) newbie fool.

We dont need trade secrets or exact answers, just a rough yes/no sort of thing, and a "from here down, its too small. From here up its too big."

As said above, there's an absolute plethora of turbo crap in the nissan forum, but there isn't really any "answers", persay.
