Ok, I had to remove my grille over the weekend to pull out the radiator for cleaning. In the process, I managed to break a couple of the retaining clips.
Question is, has anybody fitted a different grille to their vehicle? I quite like the look of the older F300 grilles and square headlights. I'm really not a fan of the newer Feaux-chrome carp on the later models.
I presume I'll probably have to change the headlights too, as the older ones seem to be squarer than mine.

Fitting a different grille

F300 lamp inserts are also a damm sight cheaper as well......
But I think the radiator support panel is different between th F300 & F310 but I could be imagining it.
As most of the square replacement lamps are all metal larger inserts are easy to fit without melting the reflector - but as always watch the looms capacity.
Also many have a small hole for a park bulb - that works well to let the mud in ( but not out for some reason.... ) Tape and silicone will fix

( usual disclaimers )
It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

Thanks for the replies guys. Having a bit of a look around, some F310s have a similar grille to the F300, so I'm hoping I can source one of those at least. The big thing for me will be to ditch the crappy fake chrome. Mine was already held on with a couple of cable ties, but clips can always be found if needed.
