Fuel economy, Pajero verus VT commodore

Post by LINKIN »

Got a new Bub on the way, actually due in couple days, Getting a new car and narrowed it down to a VT or 97ish Paj, wondering if anyone can give me a rough comparison in fuel consumption.
Thanks

What kind of driving mate, I would say that you would get about 14-15L/100KM out of the Pajero for everyday driving with some traffic. Remember its weighs two thousand kilos, so your always going to be pushing it up hill so to speak.

Its for the missus, and she drives like a nanna. Maybe take to fraser or something, no real offroad driving more of a family car.

Yeah I would say day to day driving would be around 13-14L/100kms for a manual.

I had a VT wagon company car, and used to get better than 10km/l on the highway, travelling around 110km/h. Around town, I didn't bother to check - I wasn't paying for fuel. :D

the VT will definately get better fuel economy than the paj

but if you want to go wheeling then the VT wont work too well
