Hey, after a good day of 4wd'n at ormeau I ended up with a bent front passenger spring. It happened when climbing out of a mudpit. I have since noticed that the rear shakle angle is closer to 45deg while the front drivers is closer to 70deg. And since I need to replace the spring was thinking of going ruf.
Is there any angle I should be heading towards with the shakle?
Thanks
best thing with breaking something, get to replace it with better

nah, didnt even notice it. just rubbing on the guard when i drove away i figured i ripped my plastic garden edging off. fixed it on the track to, 5 guys in the back while having the front wheen in a ditch. than a big stick to lever the shakle back to normal position.tazzashort wrote:same thing happened to me when i had a zuk i solved it enough to get home lucky i had a spare on the back that was tiny so i drove home on a angle. did u nearly go through the window?
I did the same thing in my stocker a few years ago.
we just popped it back to normal and after about half an hour of 4wding it was flat as ever and I never changed anything.
your spring isnt broken its just bent, you could look at it as the oposite to springs sagging, that one has some anti sag.
but if you wants ruf then go for it, although what you did probably hasn't wrecked what you have
