Sierra on Junkyard Wars

Post by Adsport »

so i was flicking through the channels on fox and saw one of my favourites junkyard wars was on i thought awesome! this episode was a rock crawler special and one team used a sierra chassis and converted to electric power haha.basically for those that dont watch or know it two teams have to build machines to fufill a certain pupose from breaker yard scraps.

you should be able to find it on torrent if you search for "junkyard wars" and "boulder dash" which is the name of the episode.

torrent i found : http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/2692 ... ab=summary

Was this the one the presenters referred to it as a jeep?

Yeah, they always call them "jeeps" which is so annoying

On Scrapyard challenge, they got the motor/box from a FWD car and mounted it in the middle, using the FWD driveshafts to drive the diffs, which was pretty cool.

kinda a pitty they are douches and dont know how to build anything....
eletric motors are ok.. BUT why not mount them off the tailshafts???
douches!

if they had of welded the diffs in the zook it would have driven it!

OK I have downloaded the files in that torrent but have NFI what I do with them? Care to enlighten me how I turn those files into a watchable file?

It's a multi-segment RAR file. Download WinRAR or similar (RAR being a compression format) and it'll join all the segments into one viewable file.

Used supernzb to get it going. That zook woulda been good if they had some dexent tyres. Surprised the other POS did so well though.
