G13b - Differences between 90 & 96 models

Post by bigsteve »

Hi All,

Looks like I may be putting the engine from my 90 sierra into a 96/97 coiler.

I know they are both G13b's but is there any difference between the 2, maily the peripherals eg CTI ignition or stuff like that.

I'm pretty sure it should be just about identical but thought it'd pay to check.

Sweet - thanks guys.

Mock, my engine is going in Ray's coiler, he may shy from the tomahawk technique.

I have no idea. It is really pissing me off now. Funds have been really low lately. Hopefully i can get a few things sorted asap and get it back on the road. You still looking for a family car, what about a 1970 VG Coupe, V*, auto on gas perfect for a growing family :D
