lol well i think i might go for the 50mm lift and some tyres maybe front difflock apart from that i dont really know do you have any ideas ?
I was thinking the rear lsd would be enough so just the locker and tyres should put it in some places

Have you taken it offroad yet to see how capable it is standard? You may suprise yourself how much you dont need a locker and all the shit.

Yeah it had 200kms on the clock and I had it out bush lol
I found the tyres it comes with are shit I got bogged in my back yard on the grass I had to put it in 4wd just to get around the front again. but then again they are road tyres as for offroading I would have to lift it 50mm as she seems a bit low in the middle she sat on her guts when I was crossing a hill but approach and depart angles are good

I'd just be putting decent rubber on it for now. My Maverick went everywhere without a locker and I only put that in a few years ago as it was about the same as repairing the LSD. The Nissans are amazing vehicles and once you put your 2" lift in you will go plenty of places with some decent tyres.

so heres the question then whats the best tyres to put on a patrol for a good offroad tyre and on road grip in the wet coopers stt mickey t's BF MT
or goodyears and what size 285/70/16 or standard size 265/70/16

I reckon some 285/75/16's in a BFG MT or Cooper STT would suit it down to the ground and be awesome off road

doesnt it come with 17inch rims? Or your changing them too?

285x75x16s are good size, MTR's round $280 are a good buy.

Have had one for the last 8 months - wife has already dinted both front doors....... Goes ok but would have liked to get a 6cyl.

yeah i have to say that i think they went the wrong way with the 3LTDDI engines its a little under powered but you can live with it
