getting seats re-covered

Post by khany427 »

anyone here had their seats recovered?
looking for some sort of seat cover for mine but as they are a really odd shape its nearly impossible to get them unless they are custom made for $400! and then they will only do them in like a leather type material.

basically i just want them covered in something sort of hard wearing and would like to know roughly what it costs.

these are the seats in question...
thanks for your help and ideas!

Multi fit canvas seat covers with separate head rest covers.

Should be $200- for the pair.

If I were you I'd seek out an upholsterer that does lounges and big stuff like that. They could whip up a plain jane set of canvas (or similar material) covers for bugger all.
Pretty much anyone with a sewing machine could do seat covers.

You could get those seats re-covered professionally in just about anything but leather for less than $400.

If you where in Sydney I'd be able to recommend someone, but your not. But as others have said, run of the mill upholsterer should be able to do it for a fair bit under $400
