Depends on the parts inteperator. I tried to buy a p.s vent for my 88 gq patrol just before I sold it and the guy wanted a vin number. Pissed me off because I was nowhere near my car or rego papers at the time. Like they only had the same vent in them from years 1987 to 1997 :x
Sorry... had my rant now.... on with the thread

Every Suzuki parts division asks for a VIN up here regardless of what your asking for whether it by the number three conrod to a sump plug gasket, it's like McDonalds they can't do anything without asking whether "you want fries with that" "no mate, the icecream will be fine by itself"

Not up here...

If it's just the sump drain plug seal and not the plug just use a copper washer...

The sump plug is also the same size as the gearbox and Tcase plugs too isn't it?
