Nissan GU rear tube bar WANTED

Post by duggie15 »

Hey All,
I have come to the conclusion about the plastic rear bar for the pootrol.
RIp the bugger off.... and start again, I live in brizzy and asked around at some shops that mandrel bend they really didn't do that sort of work and went to TJM all they could suggest waz the HEAVY over the top ARB rear bar. (not an option haven't won lotto YET) I've seen some really good tube bars on some getting around the place (even stalked 1 or 2 patrol owners at shopping centers but it's usually the misses doing the shopping and didn't know were the hubby got it from???? did they make it?? or does anyone know who does??? if ya know anyone that would make up a bar let me know thanx

Not quite a rear bar but I made these after I broke the rear lights. They just bolt to the existing bolts on the chassis. The light on the spare wheel allowed me to legally remove the lower lights.

Do you need to trim the rear quarters to fit the Cheezy bars to a GU. They look pretty damn good. How much do they cost???

Both Ontrack and Cheezy bar requires triming off the panel that is behind the plastic junk.
i was keen on the ontrack bar originally untill i saw Cheezys bar, the side profile on the cheezy bar is much neater to the original body lines, and also offers pivots for carriers and jerrys.

Grant.

i will Pm what it cost me if interested.

I have a custom made tube bar for sale in brisbane... No body chop required, in undercoat greay atm, keep std tow bar set up and increases departure angle.

Change of plan to a more cut away bar. PM me and i can send pics through to email...

Cheers Ben
