Find some posts from Zook60 heaps of info there.
Agreed 60s are a good option. My talk of the 70s diffs was more for getting the strength increase, staying SPUA and being at a more road-able width (can of worms in itself). End result would be the same as Lux width but SPUA and with the correct offset on the rear diff, without going all the way out to MQ/60s width.

I guess you might as well go that wide if you're going to the trouble of swapping diffs anyway.

has anyone noticed that _noddy never ever bites back when someone tells him he is an idiot!
never on any forum.
but everyone bites so hard at his questions and gets upset.

I'm sure just like me he is sitting at home pissing himself with laughter as people get all upset and then he just ignores you again and continues with his dumb ways!

let the guy ask questions and don't answer him unless you really want to help the sad case!

I must admit that his questions get more responses than most and are proving to gather some tech in between the rants!

Rant over, more tech please

my swap is slow but steady.
I'm trying to get my mate in USA to get me some parts and looking for some lux diffs at a good price, just a complete front would do or even just swivel hubs in good nick.
the sr20det is waiting for the gearbox to be rebuilt with USA parts and am keeping my eye out for a lux transfer for a good price!
then they will get bolted together and I will collect the rest of the parts needed ie intercooler, fuel pumps and throw the whole lot in (over a period of time, {this period of time may be shortened as I have a new job working 3day weekend, so I have no life or friends to hang out with just a zook})

oh and to stay on topic
if you want spring under go the mq
if you want spring over go lux
or be different (_noddy you are) and put lux diffs in spring under.
doesn't QLD have track witdth rules?
if so go wide track and buy some swanky cv's and axles!
if you drive hard but fair you shouldn't have too many problems with stock stuff anyway.
I had a welded front with nt diffs and 30's, ok not world beaters but I didn't have a locked rear so the front did alot of work and I did alot of driving ie every weekend and I never broke anything

Yes they do at that. He picked up the red one for $300 missing motor and gearbox IIRC! Be nice if they sold for that in SA
