stanard no mods
I tried them for the first time at tamworth rnd 3
awsome..... personally i would never go back
heres some photos of my setup... all up the batteries had the potential of delivering 2420CCA
2x haze N70 gels plus N120
the finished product. the reason they are out side is that there was no more room in the engine bay.
cheers smitty

innovation is better, better is faster, and fast is all that counts
Hi there winchin1, I think hammey pretty well demonstrated what they are capable of, that a pretty awesome set up! Titan Offroad/Titan Solenoids is my business and i have been selling these units for roughly two years now. They are an excellent unit and in my opinion a better proposition than the old school 4 pack strung together with bars.
There are certainly other alternatives out there and many people have differing opinions, which is fine, but my experience with these units has been nothing short of awesome, particularly in terms of value for money, at $225 delivered to your door.
I started selling them after experimenting with them in comps etc. The first one i sold is still in Coighty's 80series and has done 2 OBC's, Cliffhanger, 2xTamworth XWC, 2xWillowglen, 2xWoodpecker and various other club comps, needless to say he hasn't touched it since the day we put it in. They can be mounted on their side or sitting upright, it doesn't bother them, and to this day I have never heard of one suffering from g'outs in high speed comps (being affected by big impacts)
I can honestly say that out of the roughly 300 I have sold, I have had four true "failures" and I cannot attest to how those ones were wired up, but they developed a problem, but I think a roughly 1% failure rate is pretty damn good, I would like to see the stats on failure rates for my competitors solenoids, I know lots and lots of people who have had the old school solenoids fail.
Anyway I hope you guys didn't mind me chiming in, but it is my business and I've worked hard to set it up and done my homework.
Please feel free to ask any questions or drop me an email or PM too, same goes if you would like to order any.
Cheers, Paul

I hate that some people have invested more money into their batter setup than I have invested in the entire vehicle ... but that is nice.bigcam wrote:i think i just got a hard on....

24V Titan
We have been selling these for Berretts as the premium winch solenoids for a while and the only few problems we were aware of related to 24V. They are fine at passing 24V through the heavy winch contacts but should be switched (controlled) by 12V = no problems at all.

i have one controlling my high moutn with 6hp motor and find it a great product. The winch actually seems quicker with it.
however berrettas customer service was crap. after he made the sale he never replied back to me about a few question I had. Thank god for the electrical section on outers cuz beretta was no help.
Anyway all sorted and no regrets buying the unit i like.
