Help! TBI into SJ413
Ok I have finally got my injection stuff. The wiring loom is COMPLETE as in it has everything to run a 8v TBI vitara. What I want to do is strip it down to just the essentials to run the injection in the 413. Does anyone one have any detailed instructions on how they had done it into their 413 as I had a look at the wiring diagrams and got head spins lol

Nice score MR O , where and what sort of $$$ did you pick that up for ?
Its not that hard to strip the loom down if you take it a step at a time , I gather you have a complete loom , ie head light plugs and all dash plugs .
Firstly strip all the tape off the loom and I mean all of it , its a pain but it makes life so much easier and you will want to run it in a different shape anyway .
Then just cut off the fuse box and get it out of the way , just the fuse box and not the two relays in the loom , you need those . ( If you are unsure at this stage just skip this step )
Now find yourself a wiring diagram with the plug layout on it , start with the first pin on the plug , check the diagram and see what it goes to . Now follow the loom all the way until you get to the final plug , tag it . If its a sensor , ie temp etc , trace the other wire back to the loom and check it goes to earth ( black ) or positive ( black white usually ) .
Move on to the next pin and once you have marked off all the wiring diagram and accounted for every wire coming out of the ecu plug , cut off all unmarked plugs atleast a few inches back from the plug incase you need for something else .
Once all the plugs are cut off pull out all the loose wires , you should only be left with a handfull of wires that need to be pluged in . The two relays in the loom are the main ecu relay and the fuel pump relay .
This will be a good way to learn a little bit about the injection , give it a go but count on it taking several hours this way but it is simple and methodical and you will end up with a loom like Tu's has , with a few wires to conect up and you will be away . If you do not have a diagram with the plug numbers on it let me know I have one where , or look on suzuki info etc .

He got it (finally) from me Chris (original stuff from the Piece of Shite) as it was surplus to me with the 16V engine going in. Make sure you create a tech thread for this so it can be added to the bible (and on ORE too).

Started to sit down and strip the loom yesterday using the info off suzuki info....there seems to be some slight variations to my loom and the one hes has done it on (maybe american and new zealand zooks are slightly different?) very easy to do maybe but im 16 and not quite to sure

I started to strip out mine and gave up after a while for the same reason. Mind you I didnt take Rotazuks advice and strip all the tape off first. Just take your time and trace each wire as he said, then double check the position of the wire on the ECU plugs to check if it is required and if not snip it off (leave an inch or two in the plug so you can easily undo a mistake). When it is running and you are happy then tidy up the short ends.
My wife wasnt happy with me doing mine in the lounge on the floor as there was bits of tape everywhere (must have stuck to my feet and I walked it around), not to mention the off cust of wire.
Just take your time and double check before you cut - Check twice cut once!

The last one i did on Pyrozook's sierra did have color variation, but the ECU pinout matched the diagrams so i just traced the wires with a multimeter. The suzukinfo page is done for a Geo tracker (stateside vitara copy). I'm not sure what Pyro's injection came off. It was Mud4b's old setup so maybe he will know.
