Just got this email
;)
[Unfortunately we do not have those with the KMH as the primary.

To make those, we would need to get ahold of a spare cluster we can disassemble completely. They are not the easiest things for us to get ahold of here in the states, since everything here is in MPH. If you can get us a cluster, we can do a custom set for you. Pricing on a custom set is about $40 plus shipping back to you. But like I said, it needs to be a spare cluster we can disassemble that doesn’t need to work again. So out of a wrecked vehicle is preferred. We will of course send you a set of gauges to install on your vehicle as well. If this is something you would be interested in, let me know.sounds a bit dear to me :?

Boner,

i have done all the ground work with my supplier,(so dont waste your time or money sending a cluster over) he has a KMH cluster and is working on them as i type, he has sent me sample of the designs and i am more then happy with them, i can also say they they will be a heap cheaper then $40 for a set.

Jimbo,

i will work on this for you once i get the first set over here, as i am planning on running 37s on my zook too, il need a set of these,

if you have any further questions, please ask, i will do my best to help you all out

James,
Not a problem mate, i woulnt been keen to send a whole gauge cluster over there either.
I have actually been sussing these out for quiet a few weeks now. Like i said, all the leg work is done, i was keeping it quiet, but when this thread popped up, and i thought it best to make it known, i was just trying to get everything sorted before going public, but oh well.

For now they are stock gauges, so tyres/gearing has not been taken into account for the first run.

After that, depending on the interest level, i will try to do a bulk order, so at the moment it is just a EOI.
We will need to find out what tyre sizes we want done. 31, 32, 33, 35, 37 etc.

To do this, you will need to work out the percentage of how far they are out, i think 31s are 1.16% and 32s are 1.22 (dont quote me on this)
then if you have diff gears it will change that again...i think

I can also get gauges for just about any car, not just sierra, so Jimny, Hilux, Patrol, Cruiser, ect, ect, ect.

Once i get them over here, i will write up a thread on how to install them and also review them for you all.

No, the speedo on a zook reads from "behind" the transfer, so t-case gearing/gearbox ratio changes will make no difference. It all depends on diff gears and tyre size. The changes to the guage readings will be calculated mathamatically, then the speedo arc changed in CAD to keep it as acurate as possible :D

So if i wanted a set, and i had 33's, the guage could be made to read accurate again?

Mike - yes you are correct, we coiuld calibrate the gauge, so that iwhen ur doing 60, your speedo will read 60, not 50 etc

GRPABT1 - my Tacho face, has
OFF @ 0 RPM
Crawming @ 2500
High Way @ 3500
Valve Bouncing @ 6500
and
BANG @ 8000

i will try yo post a pic up tonight

so yes we can have HOLY SHIT at 7000 if you wish

Lil'Loki - i made up a set, that had the 140ks crossed out and "keep dreamin" writen under it, an dthe 120 was crossed out with "Yea Right" under it, but i thought the same thing, how would i go getting pulled up and having numbers on my gauges crossed out..LOL
