GQ Front LSD

Post by MyGQ »

Hay guys

did a bit of a search but didn't quite get what i wanted

Mate is planing on putting in a LSD into the front of his GQ (yeah i know the locker route but LSD in front doesn't affect you entering Willowglen in the standard class)

Now i know a Pathfinder or Navara LSD fits but i don't know what year model or make you need. can someone help out here?

I can tell you we tried it and it broke, the LSD is very small and the plates broke into lots of little bits, this was with 36" simexes and a TB42 carby Patrol.

yeah its not for a super modified patrol, its for a simple 2" setup with 33's, its going to be a traction for just a bit extra off road performance, not a comp truck.

Just need to know what we are looking for

R50 pathfinders run the H233B rear diff and so do the WD21 Pathfinder. Both run LSD's.

D21's and certain D22's run the H233B rear diff aswell. All bar the ZD30DDT and YD25DDTI CRD powered Navara's run the H233B rear diff. Which is the diff you will need the LSD out of.

ZD30DDT and YD25DDTI CRD powered Navara's run the C200 which wont help you at all.

The diff you what will have the 31 spline axles, all later model Navaras and Pathfinders (about 95 on ) run the 33 splines, be carful with MQ/MK stuff as the crown wheel mounting bolt holes change, cheers Phill.
