need some info on what sump to use for LS1 to GQ patrol conversion.How much and where to purchase.

You need a reverse sump
I have one if your close as freight would be a killer I think
Its new & I was going to put it in my 60 but have sence sold it

Make sure you get the rear pickup truck sump not the Corvette one.

whats the difference between the 2 sumps i got an ebay special and it holds the oil fine i did have to mod the fixing points though, make sure you change the "o" ring in the pick up for 20c you can save a lot of hassels.
nissan 98 gu 5" lift 37 creepys, 80%reduction gears, front locker and a gen3 and no money.

Truck is deeper and further back. I used the corvette one with a lowered pickup was too close to the diff though.

Does anyone know what the part number is for the dipstick tube to suit, i think i have the camaro sump?

Don't know the part no. but Eagle Auto spares had them, I think they are in Sydney as well as Melbourne

just put 6.5 lt in and cut the dip stick to suit and swage the end

i ordered mine off eagle and a SBC one arrived. still have it. $50 wasn't worth the hassle of posting it back.

What oil filter is used with the corvette sump?? i tried the commo filter and it's the wrong thread.
Or do you just change the threded fitting in the sump.

I thought they were the same. look up an online US oil filter company. I think factory is delco on those
