I have a gq 4.2L auto 94model. I have done 40,000km with it changed to oil twice with good synth oil. I give it a good work out on the beach and in the bush. I am about to fit a oil cooler on it next week. I have noticed the transmition tunnel gets a bit hot after a bit of hard work.

I have had an auto TD42 for a few years now.......Service it regularly and it should treat you well.

I am going to add one of these babies to mine and disconnect the radiator cooler to hopefully cool the auto better and take a little heat out of the engine cooling as well.
