SWAY BAR FLIPPING UP WHEN 4WDING - QICK RELEASE NUTS?

Post by Snell »

I have heard that you can buy quick release nuts to release the sway bar at the rear. Does anyone know the name or possibly where to buy them?

Thanks

Snell.

I assume you are talking about a disco sway bar.

Don't know about any quick release nuts, but someone replaced the bolts with pins for hayman reece towbar receivers. Need a washer on each side and piece of tube inside the rubber bushes. Seemed to work ok.

Yes, just get rid of them. You probably wont even notice the difference, apart from the extra wheel travel.....
