rocktoy ring for t-case
rocktoy ring for t-case
Could anyone tell me where I could get rocktoy ring for t-case. I splitted my t-case and broke two gears. I wait for set of new gears for my zook, thanks to warranty. I don't want that happen again, so I'd like to get that Rocktoy ring, however I have no idea how to get to those guys, who make it. thanks.

They have gone up a little since the original runs were done (2 years ago) due to the price of steel.ofr57 wrote:yup11_evl wrote:how much was he selling em for??
he was selling JUST the ring rite??
if i remeber it was 50 per ring
They are $75 each plus $10 postage.
Still cheap insurance for a set of crawler gears though.
Cheers Chris

instead of starting a new thread since it relates to the roctoy ring I'll post here...

over the x-mas holidays I'm thinking of taking out my body lift in my sierra ute but here's the issue
I've raised my transfer case by approx 40mm and with the current 2inch body lift the ring sits about a 1cm away from the floor.
I'm just wondering how much of the trans tunnel has to get cut out for it to still fit (e.g the whole thing ?) and if anybody has done a similar thing?
finally by doing this would the cab loose any rigidity resulting in deterioration/ cracks/ splits occurring
cheers

I dont know about the raised transfer aspect. But on my non-BL Sierra, I could not fit the roctoy ring to the transfer without mods to the ring (or tunnel as alternate). It would actually fit (just) but you cannot lift it up to take it off the TC bolts. I trimmed small areas out in line with where the tunnel sides come down, and its now all good. My case is standard height though, so 40mm lifted I imagine is gonna be allot of work...
Dont know about any of the other bits you asked.
Hope that helps
