35" Muddies YOU TELL ME

Post by whythef@#!not »

gday fellas

The foreman has given me the thumbs up to get some new tyres :D

was planning on getting bighorns in 35s but might give them a miss now after one of my 33s sidewall split on the weekend. (thank you to the fella who loaned me the spare for the night who ever you are)

So im after a 35x12.5x15 or wider, was looking at the centipede et2s, baja claws, the claws where a fair bit cheaper so leaning towards them at $340 each or something similar and something with a harder compound as will be used on the road a bit too.

so just after some experienced opinions, oh and if you got some tyres there let me know.

cheers all for the input

yes i know from reading the 6743524762432234223466788996 other threads that these tyres are shit for on road, but lucky for me i have the ability to drive accordingly. im asking which one has a harder compound for a longer wear.

Hey what ballpark figures are we lookin at from ryano @ fourby's for a 35 anyway?

the interco trxus look awesome unfortunately were $485 a tyre, and a minimum of a 8 week wait before they are on oz, so might look into the trepadores now

they quite soft are they, heard you get around 45000kms out of em, look a bit to crazy for me, the silverstone sports look good, but doesnt look like they do a 35.

quite a hard decision here, doing my head in :? :? :?

sorta come down to the trepadores or the baja claws, seem like a very decent off road tyre but have the charcteristics to perform ok on the road too. the et2s or mt117s or creepys seem to full on to just run the one set.
