p.s i found a speedo adapater that plugs into the ford loom and fits my 75 series box. autobarn.

and also what did you do about the oil filter
I used a Gen toyota filter 90915-YZZD2. Z418 in a Ryco. Was the right thread, sealing face and just short enough no to ful the chassis.

Bit hard to get a pic of the tensioner I made for the belt without pulling bits off. I'll try and get a pic for you soon though.

So more details on the adapter you found....got a pic?

thanks for your reply, I don,t have the part yet ,$ 186 from autobarn.
the reason i am trying to use all the wiring loom is to get rid of all the gauges i have ,couse the ones in my speedo cluster did not work.
My sparky said to get all of the looms to make a simple swap.

the speedo converter is eletronic impolse sender ,more info when i get the part in the next few days.

p.s today i did my shackle reversal to 75 sreies diffs and fitted the motor and gear box again, and took photos.

Pics of my tensioner. Can't remember the length of the belt, I think its a 6pk1080 but the numbers have rubbed off a bit.

I used one of the pulleys off the auto tensioner from memory. Definately didn'tuse the a/c pulley.

Jimmy, sign up to www.photobucket.com to get an album that you can upload your photos to. If you can't figure it out from there let me know and I'll guide you through it.

Sorry Jimmy, I was way off(going on memory). Just checked with the spare belt I keep in the back (don't know why I didn't think to check this last time) and its 6PK1930. All depends how far out you made your tensioner but that should get you in the ballpark.
