Have a problem with the fan switch on my gu. The swith only works on #4 but have checked all the wires they are fine so just wondering if u can replace the contacts or do u have to buy a new switch??

Have you checked the fan resistor, this will cause this fault, cheers Phill

It wont be the switch, sounds to me like your resistor board(resitor set) is screwed, it will be somewhere in the air duct system to keep cool, most likely on the passenger side in the air con box

When driving along the air con works on 1,2 and 3 but not at the right speed. But soon as u stop at lights or whatever the air con stops and no air at all comes out unless its on 4. Thanks for your comments above will check soon to see if its the resistor.
