shocks for hilux

Post by 308LUX »

ok im after new shocks for the hilux...just wandering what length should i use with 2inch bodylift running 35"s? i will be running extended hoops.
are there any which suit hilux's better than others with valving etc?

im thinking about using either bilsteins, koni, or the monroe magnum 60's which RUFF uses... cant decide???

First thing to do is flex it up on a ramp or something with no shocks on.
Then get out (hope your handbrake works well :) ) and climb under and measure your shock mounts to see what compressed and extended measurements you come up with.
Then go get a shock that suits.
