Cargo Systems

Post by pajpwr »

I'm always on the lookout for ways to maximise space. Here is my Mk 1 cargo system:

and Mk2 (the top bit is in progress)

Anyone got any more?

I made a fridge slide but didn't bother with it in the end as it took up too much room. The Waeco is easy enough to get into without a slide.

Very good Rob.
If you need some extra clearance you can use low profile hex bolts and as I told you I found that the factory 3rd seat mounts can be used as brackets to support a bench between the wheel arches. I've still got to pick up the home made one from Bob once I get it in and set up I'll post a pic.

Where can I get these hex bolts from? I do need the clearance, well spotted.

Cheers

Any bolt shop would have them. You can countersink them into the brackets to get a virtually flush fit. Find a bolt shop out your way and take in one of the existing bolts and they should be able to match it to a low profile hex bolt (like what we did for my bumpstops).
