First Time Out

Post by defender kev »

G'day everyone
Firstly i have to apologise for no pics as i dont have a camera (very soon i hope)
Today i took my Defender out for the first time and i must say i was very impressed with its ability. It has a 2"lift 33x10.5bfg muds 9000lb winch Maxi Drive rear axles with air locker etc etc.Anyway got up this morning put the kids in the truck and off to Gembrook we went.Headed straight out to the powerlines for a test.Awesome handled everything really well was very impressed with the turbo deisel. After owning 2 rangies i reckon offroad the defender would be equal if not better .It felt really nice and stable but not stable enough for the youngest passanger who spewed everywhere. My day was now over after about an hour as we were homeward bound for mum.Very impressed so far and very keen to get out again soon minus my young chucky freind!

Cheers Kev
