Yes there is a run and yes it is on the 10 :onfire:

However this run does have some conditions Mainly due to the club being bitten by the insurance bug

The run starts at the Bearded Dragon ( Tamborine ) and will travel to "private property" Virgin bush of wich all tracks have been or will be constructed for this run

Finantial Club Members Only bring your membership cards hint hint

If you wish to become a member logan club does offer reduced cost 1/2 year memberships ( dec 2 jun )

Further information will be given at a later date

Jan Night run Organiser

PS Opertunity exists for camping and a 2 day trip helpers would be appretiated

Oh yer Expect nothing and you will be impresed Expect the norm you could get lost........................................ :turn-l:

Mors of the tracks have now been marked there is every thing from spectator tracks ( Easy ) to bet you cant drive it ( These will look good even if you have a winch )

The format is a bit different it is semi tag along and camping is available.

this alows for sunday driving and track building as well ( ie if it looks good get the ok and go for your life ) we have been asked to support the Volunteer fire brigade by letting them do the BBQ so bring your appetite

Those who dont attend will miss some awsome driving and any advantage gained for the comp run later in the year  OPPS did i just say that

Not that this is the norm but some good support would be appretiated as personaly the setup of these tracks has cost me $600.00 and still counting

We all want more bush and new tracks lets support this and we can all win otherwise quit your wining if you wont do it yourself dont upset those prepaired to do it for you

the run is open to all cub members even if you pay on the night please tell as many as possible hope to take some pics just to tease

Russel is this a Day run or a Night run because a few other Club members think it is a day run on Saturday and camping is available overnight if you want to stay till sunday? How far is it going to be because if people are going to spend the night there and also drive around Sunday they will need to know how much fuel they will need. I imagine there is no fuel on site available.

We as a club are working on a practial solution at present we are using what loopholes we can but this is costing the club financialy.

The risk is if we breach our policy then we as individuals (commity) could loose everything

The members only policy for this run is to help protect the property owner from the same fate

We can only hope that there is a solution or maybe it will be members only or worse no Official runs

Big Red, I'll just back up what Russell said about the insurance concerns for our monthly night runs. The trouble is, that, according to our public liability policy, non-club members are not covered by that policy on a "competitive" natured run. Our runs have a first, second and third place, therefore qualifying them as a "competitive" natured run. The one way that I saw out of it, and I'd just like to put it up here and see what sort of response the idea gets, is that visitors can do 2 night runs free of charge, but if they want to do a third (in a club financial year), they pay a membership. (either 6 or 12 months.) The reason I had this idea is, that there is no problem with visitors on our runs, providing we do not charge them an entry fee.
It's just an idea, let me know what you guys think. I don't want to see an end to our legendary night runs, but by the same token, I, as a committee member, am not prepared to lose everything I own in a lawsuit over them.
Simon.

Nah mate. I'm sorry you didn't get your receipt mate. I'll get onto it and chase that and your membership card up for you. You are more than welcome on this run Rob, the organisers know who you are, and know you're a financial member.

Thanks Simon.....

BJ please check with Sam as from memory I gave him your membership card at one of the meetings.

If anyone else is requiring membership information please P.M me or contact me through my phone numbers, which are listed in the clubs magazine.

Sorry about any concerns you might of had BJ about your membership but it is all paid up and as Russell said you are more than welcome and allowed to join in on this run.

Russell is also correct in saying that at present our treasurer isn't very well and all efforts have been made to keep the club up to date requiring the financial side of our club.

Best wishes to Alec and hopefully a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with you and your family. :)

I've already been out there and its set for a good run tonight. As some people have gone to Land Cruiser and others are too far away for it to be feasible, those that are left will have a good night.
And OOZook, I'm Ben, I drive the "TERRANO" not a frigin Pathfinder :D
I met you on December run, we spoke about the UHF radios

Cya all those that are coming tonight.
Going to repair my car again and remove a few bits off it again :D :D

I'd just like to say, For a club that's had a record membership numbers
there was a pretty dissappointing turnout for this club run (8 cars in total) !!!! :bad-words:

Everybody's been whingeing for too long that there's nowhere to drive and everywhere is getting closed down and rather than do something about it we just all whinge about it instead !!! Well guess what, russel and peter were very thoughtful to do something about it, they slaved there gutts out on peter's property to make some of the most awesome tracks that i've seen in a long time !!! So for all that had better things to do rather than supporting fellow club members,

WELL YOU MISSED OUT !!!! :finger:

Thanks to those who showed their support  and to those who missed out then you missed out big time :D

The number of recoveries v's the carnage says it all.

On sunday I drove the Rollux ap the creek and continued past the original exit point ( about 4 x the length ) the rocks doubled in size. drove about 90% before completly removing the center tie rod on a rock ( about 5 feet high ) and there she sits well its not going anywhere might take the camera when i go to retreve it.

Here is a few snaps.

Thanks for all of your effort Russell, thank you Peter for also donating your time and property for us to have a play on. :)

I have to agree with oozuk on account of how many members are in our club a really poor effort numbers wise. Sometimes it is better to read the book then just judge it's contents by it's cover :P

once again a good effort Russell and his merry band of helpers. Looking forward to being able to have another play - but give me daylight.

Good one those that turned up for the run and thank you to those that wanted to go and joined the club on the night. :D
