Does any know much about the Detroit Electrac lockers compaired to say ARB's Air Lockers?

When engaged both are fully "locked", when not engaged the ARB is an "open" diff, thereas the Detroit is an LSD.....But I believe the Detroit is more expensive (NFI how much more).....

Like the concept, but at the moment there are only limited models available. Apparently they have dana and a few others ready now. Whish they had a toyota one, cause my rear LSD is absolutely shagged. Keeping a limited, but having the locker option would be fantastic.

I run a detriot in the rear D-44 on my XJ & remain open diff in the front till I find or decide what to put in the front. I have to be able to lock and unlock what I put in. We do a lot of icey road driving and a locker in the front that is full time will throw you off the road!
It's easy to play, but hard to learn!
