Defender starter motor

Post by Hardtop_110 »

The starter in my 200Tdi Defender has finally given up (with a bit of help).

Anyone got one hanging around or know where to get one for the right price?

Cheers

Try wreckers e.g Toorak Tractor, Range Rove, Ritters

Or 4 Wheel Drives in Middleborough Rd Box Hill

It really depends if u want genuine or aftermarket??

The other option is to get an auto electrician to recondition it for you - if properly done it is good as new and the same price as a second hand one of unknown history. If you were in Brisbane I could reccommend someone.
