Hi chaps. I've decided to get a mechanical locker for the front of my GQ. Where on the northside of brissie is the best place to get one of these? Also, how difficult are these to install? I have successfully installed a mini spool in the rear of my old vitara before.
Thanks, Adrian.

Lockright locker n/side Brisbane?
96 GQ LWB, Rd28T, nothing exciting, but CLEAAAAAN. 2" Kings flexy's, long shocks, custom dump, 3" zorst, fuel screw meddled with.
Ok, thanks for the quick reply joeblow, but I dont think I can get any shims in a hurry. I might leave this one to the professionals, as I have been reading a few posts in regards to mechanical lockers lately, and am under the impression that correct shimming will make or break the smooth and reliable operation of one of these centres. Please correct me if I am wrong?

yes, take the time to shim it properly and it won't be so bad. won't matter as much in the front but you still want to get it right.

They really arn't that hard, depends what the profesionals want to charge, but there is plenty of info on them if you search and are really easy to set up if you follow the instructions that they give you.
Best idea is find some one on here that has a put them together before and get them to help you do it (most guys would do it for a case of beer) and should take no more that a couple of hours to set up properly.
