TD42 water pump mod

Post by figjam_1985 »

hi guys,
Has anyone here modified there water pumps to suit their turbo systems. I have heard people mod the TD42 pump by putting bigger impellers on them. Does anyone here know who does it? I want to do it before strapping the T28 onto the old girl

the water pump is the same on the turbo and on the N/A model so you shouldnt have a problem with it.. the turbo shouldnt make the engine itself any hotter either.. and even if it does its your pyro temp that you should be more worried about, keep that safe and oyu shouldnt have a problem with coolant temp. What sort of boost are you plannin on runnin and wat pump mods?
01 td42 GU patrol ute, with extra bits and pieces.
