Sh!!house ride !

Post by Tommy »

After swapping my heavy steel tray for the light shortened alloy tray, the ride is terrible !

Whats my best option, as its currently running a 3 inch spring lift with extended shackles.

Should I take out a few leafs.

Buy a set of parabolic leafs ( are they any good anyway ?)

Take out all the load barers and put air bags on top of the leafs ?

What have people done ?

What works best ?

Parabolics were quoted at around $880.00 and the extended air bags were $500.00.

Thanks in advance !

x2. Bit of weight or if you dont want to raise your truck, take out a leaf or two.

Parabolics won't make it any better, if anything they will make it worse, that's if mine were anything to go by. The only time they rode well was when I had my trailer on the back and loaded up with camping gear.
