TDK 6 spot replacement calipers
TDK 6 spot replacement calipers
Hey has anyone used the TDK engineering 6 spot front and 4 spot rear calipers on the nissan yet.
Because i have the worst brakes even, I cant lock the front wheel only slightly on the rears. I already have slotted rotors all round and lucas pads to try and stop this thing but it is dangerous.
No it is not the bias valve needs adjust, the factory one is remove and it is replaced with a willwood one.
Can most people lock there brake in Gu utes and wagons. I have never been able to from new.
Cheers Heath

Yes, I can lock them on my roadies and my pedes but I have replaced all brakes lines with braided lines, slotted rotors on the front with bendix pads.
I think you find the booster is the biggest problem. Maybe contact Cheezy as I vagely recall having a conversation with him about an upgraded booster he was working on. Not sure if he completed development or not.
In the short term, braided lines may help.

Re: braided lines
If I remember, Darren McRae at ATS in Geelong had a brake kit with calipers and discs on his GU Ute used for testing.. then he went into selling as kits. hideously expensive though for the average punter.
I had the same problem on my GQ until I brought these......
They are amazing pads and get stickier as they get hot.......been racing for years and never seen a better pad...... great mix of braking and wear life.

I am so over this.
I know i can get alcon 6 spot and 4 spot rears with rotors and individual master cylinder for like 6-7 grand but i was hoping for a alternative.
