can i swap a 2.8 motor into my 2.5 rodeo if so what extras would i need

Don't know much about the 2.5's but I would suspect that it would be an opal diesel as these were in the UK frontera.

What year and what shape Rodeo are we talking about?

If its a TF model it will slot straight in. Look on the VIN plate to see if its a TF.
