di-electric grease ... it is awseome.
Put it on every electical conector (plug boot's and around your dizzy cap). anything you want to seal and remain easy to disassemble (and be water tight again when you reassemble it.) It is fantastic stuff.
Get some good plug leads with formed boots ICE apparently make excellent ones. I have used bosch leads with great results as far as waterproofing goes.

with the plug leads, you can use 24hr araldite (spelling?) to seal up where to boot meets the lead.

I am sure that would work well .. but doesnt aryldite melt (or soften) at temps over 80c ?brad-chevlux wrote:love_mud wrote:di-electric grease ... it is awseome.

Dielectic grease leaves things really easy to disassemble if needed as well, and becasue it stays as a grease .. when you reassemble it re-seals

Most car joints should sell/order it for you.

the aryldite was intended to use on the current leads instead of buying lead woth formed boots.love_mud wrote:I am sure that would work well .. but doesnt aryldite melt (or soften) at temps over 80c ?brad-chevlux wrote:love_mud wrote:di-electric grease ... it is awseome.

but yeah for the rest of system the dielectric grease is a good idea
